RWC Outpatient Treatment

RWC Outpatient Treatment treats substance use and mental illness through a social-justice lens. We believe that chronic social injustice and discrimination fuel the cycle of addiction and pain, and must be understood and addressed to achieve lifelong recovery.

We’ve built a program from scratch to provide you a comfortable, trauma-informed and community-based home for behavioral health services. Our staff are skilled in helping individuals and families from many cultures navigate the recovery process. We specialize in providing comprehensive care, including outpatient counseling, wellness services, assessments and recovery management services to adults with substance use and mental illness.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services for Adults of Any Gender

We take clients who are prescribed Suboxone, methadone and medical cannabis.

Grounded in social justice
Holistic, somatic de-westernized care: drumming, yoga, reiki, sound healing, sage smudging (by Native staff), aromatherapy. massage chair, and nutrition.
19 group hours per week
- Monday-Thursday (9:00am-12:50pm)
- Friday virtual groups (9:30am-11:50am) with 10 minute breaks in between groups sessions.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) with Housing

Our high-intensity outpatient program offers a monthly housing stipend of up to $700.

Clients attending up to 19 hours of programming weekly are eligible for the stipend, paid directly to an approved sober residence for up to 6 months. This stipend rewards regular attendance.

During intake/referral, discuss lodging options with Roots staff and contact an residence partner for their application process. Please note that some residences may have fees exceeding $700. Clients must be able to cover the difference and pay any required deposit.

Our program has three phases: intensive, transitional, and maintenance. Stipend amounts decrease as you progress. See the table below for details.

or by appointment, with virtual options available. We have staff who speak French, Spanish, Meta and West African Creole.
