Rising Roots Children’s Day Treatment

Welcome to Rising Roots: Empowering Strong Roots for Young Minds to Rise

Rising Roots provides a holistic, inclusive space where children can flourish emotionally, socially, and academically. Our combination of compassionate care, evidence-based practices, and cultural sensitivity makes us a trusted partner in your child’s journey toward growth and healing.

At Rising Roots, we are dedicated to nurturing the emotional and social well-being of children aged 6–9. Our Children’s Mental Health Day Treatment Program is a vibrant space where young hearts and minds are guided to grow, heal, and thrive. Offering care from Monday to Thursday, 1:00–4:30 pm, we provide a structured, supportive environment tailored to each child’s developmental stage.

Launching on February 10, 2025, our program will offer age-specific programming for 6–9 years. Each team is intentionally small, with 8–10 children, ensuring personalized attention in a nurturing group dynamic. With a 1:3 staff-to-child ratio, our expert team of therapists, paraprofessionals, practitioners, and a dedicated Treatment Supervisor fosters meaningful connections.

Rising Roots stands out for its culturally rooted, trauma-informed practices that heal the ROOT cause of dysregulation of the vagus nerve. We integrate somatic techniques to enhance the mind-body connection. Our approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally rooted. Using polyvagal theory and harm-reduction strategies, we teach children emotional regulation and healthy decision-making, enhance social-emotional development, and build effective communication skills.

We emphasize the power of secure attachments. By cultivating a deep sense of belonging, we empower children to explore their emotions, develop resilience, and build lasting relationships.
